Maintenance & Warranty

Maintenance Requirements

Recommended Maintenance

Love Your vehicle and enjoy the benefits of the coating applied which include:

·         the extra time you will have with the reduced time taken to care for your vehicle

·         brilliant shine

·         looking cleaner for longer

·         extra dollars in your pocket from less trips to the detailers or buying products

DSM ShineCon recommends that you carry out the following maintenance for your vehicle:

DO NOT wash your vehicle for 7 days after the coating has been applied

ONLY wash the vehicle with a PH neutral car wash/shampoo or just clean water!

AVOID washing your vehicle in direct sunlight and in hot conditions. Best to wash the vehicle in the shade or when the panels have cooled down
RECOMMENDED to use a microfibre cloth to wash and dry

DO NOT take your vehicle through automated car wash machines

DO NOT use:

·         abrasive cleaning products such as polish

·         degreasers or solvents

·         brushes to clean your panels

as these may reduce the effectiveness of coating and void your warranty

DO remove any bird/bat droppings or other contaminants as soon as possible to reduce the acidic effect. Best to cover the affected area with a wet microfibre cloth that has been soaked in a PH neutral car shampoo, leave for a couple of minutes and then gently wipe clean.  Do not pick/scratch the contaminants off or use a brush/scourer.

DO wash your vehicle at least once a month
